MY APARTMENT

In September I will be living in the Hampstead Apartments on campus.

Photobucket

Hampstead Apartments contain sixty-one comfortable apartments, each with five ensuite bedrooms, and a shared living/kitchen/dining area. Each apartment comprises four single ensuite rooms and one superior ensuite room.

Each bedroom has a study area and internet access * . A telephone (incoming calls only) and cable connection are provided in the living area of each apartment

I will be living with four other international students, which will be an amazing experience in itself. How many people can actually say they did something like that?

I also received a lot of new information from DCU today. Apparently if we arrive any earlier than September 20th (which I am arriving the 19th - 9:15 am) we are on our own. I will have to find my own means of transportation (taxi seems safer than bus for my arrival) and book a hostel to stay at. The intimidation factor has finally set in. Omg I'm going to be in another country all by myself and have no clue what I am doing! As scary as this is, I'm also looking forward to it. I'm going to have a whole day in Dublin to myself. To explore, get lost, and just hang out. Hopefully I don't get lost for days on end!! Luckily I hear the Irish are very helpful people, we will see! :)

AND SUDDENLY I FEEL LIKE I AM LEAVING TOO SOON AND DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO PREPARE! I have all these little things I need to do, but knowing I'm going to be in another country for an entire day with NO ONE makes me think I have a lot of knowledge to gain!

  1. 8 weeks more!!! That's plenty of time, but it's going to go by so quickly. Understatement of the century "but I'm looing forward to it." hehe
I can't beleive you haven't even told me about this. So you're going to have a bedroom to yourself? I'm so proud of you BFF!!!!
