It is April. Omg it is already April! As of today I have about three months left. Although it sounds like a lot of time, it really isn't. I have every week and every last trip planned. I'm done with classes in three weeks and done with the semester in five-ish. More importantly, I will no longer be living in my apartment which I have called home for the past seven months, at the end of May.
Upcoming trips that I am SO excited about:
1) Derry & Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland
2) Dingle, which is in the south of Ireland
3) MY SISTER IS COMING!!!! I'll show her around Dublin and Galway for a few days before spending our remaining two weeks together in Italy & Greece :)
4) Interrailing with Lisa for two weeks. So far we will go to Berlin, Germany - Prague, Czech Republic - Vienna, Austria - Zurich & Bern, Switzerland and end in
5) Paris, France... where I'll spend a week with Caroline and her family!
6) Back to Ireland for the LAST time (DEFINITELY NOT forever, but for a while) before heading back to California...
A few of those weeks in between I'll be writing essays galore, so basically the remainder of my time is all planned out and winding down :(
I have a very late update about our DCU volleyball teams: Both the men and women's teams made it to the national semi-finals hosted in Belfast. Unfortunately, we lost in the first match which can be blamed on half of our regular team missing, but hey no excuses... Our lads won the whole thing though!!
On to another matter... according to friends and family back home, I now have a bit of an Irish accent! This definitely isn't intentional, as I never even noticed it. But now that they keep pointing it out, I can kinda hear it.
